Domes Rocked at Bažant Pohoda Festival 2015 in Slovakia
Trencin, Slovakia /
July 2015
This year’s map of our summer festivals was extended by open-air Bažant Pohoda, one of the biggest Slovak music events launched annually. We partied at Trenčín Airport where 200,000 beers had reportedly been drunk, some of them even under our very own roofs: Freedome 150, 110 and 75.
Famous for its alternative music, rock, pop & dance stages, but also for theatre, discussions, dance and literature workshops, 19th Bažant Pohoda once again hosted many famous artists, e.g. Björk, Manu Chao La Ventura, Die Antwoord and was stuffed full of every art one could think of. There is something irresistible about waiting in a beer line, the tunes and bright festival sun that sets the mood for great performances!
The sponsors of the event, Heineken’s Zlatý Bažant (or Golden Pheasant), selected our Freedome 150 (154m2) and Freedome 110 (113m2) structures with matching vinyl branding as venues for the general public. Their welcoming beer kegs located on a custom wooden deck alongside seats for visitors attracted tons of people. Yet another structure, Freedome 75, with opaque membrane in white served as a VIP zone area and proved to be a comfortable lounge for celebrities in between the gigs. Festival fever has gripped the nation and hung in the air long after the kegs were empty.
