Interactive dome for Mexico Tourism Board
London, United Kingdom /
February 2015
To celebrate the official year of Mexico in the United Kingdom, Mexico Tourism Board teamed up with Freedomes, LM Productions and MAPP3D, to prepare interactive showcase that redefined experiential marketing.
Freedome 500 located in Potters Fields Park vis-à-vis the Tower Bridge of London used state-of-the-art technologies to tell a story of a country which cultural heritage dates back to first Mayan settlements established c. 2000 BC.
Immersive 360 degree spherical projection took guests on tour of the country’s 32 states, including archeological sites, bustling cities and world heritage sites, natural zones, and magical towns.
To enhance the experience and provide the highest picture fidelity, Freedome 500 featured the biggest projection screen ever made for a mobile dome, while 3 high-powered vacuum pumps guaranteed its smooth surface.
Londoners fell in love with the immersive dome for Mexico, proving that advanced technologies are not only effective in promotion of consumer goods.
It has been confirmed that interactive installation in Freedome 500 will continue its world tour. Follow our Facebook or Twitter accounts for the most up do date information about the forthcoming events.
